As a Freelance Hybrid Events Producer, you will oversee the white-glove delivery of world-class events showcasing and promoting our major brand clients, largely within the tech and retail space. Your mission is to bring these activations to life from concept to execution. In this role, you'll project manage streaming events, both live and pre-recorded. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual who is comfortable interfacing with clients in fast-paced, time-critical situations and has excellent troubleshooting abilities. The objective is to produce online and hybrid events that leave the attendee feeling as fulfilled as if it was IRL. There often will be an in-person component when the events are going live.
Main responsibilities include booking studio or meeting spaces, finding accommodations for attendees, managing budgets, creating the run of show, networking with vendors, inviting speakers, and managing communication with staff and clients. Additionally, you'll pivot from overseeing platform development, content management, and video production to assisting with attendee communication materials involving print and digital copy, graphics, and video. You will work across different time zones and will shift between some managing productions both remote and on-location.
We are seeking to hire freelance superstars at a $40-$80/hour project rate based on the project type, required skills and experience, but also have opportunities throughout the year for full-time and permanent creative hires!

Overview
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage and oversee video pre-production planning and on-site production activities for video clients.
Deliver high quality product on time and within budget working with vendors.
Offer guidance for storyboards and liaison edits to vendor.
Anticipate and respond to needs and requests from clients.
Ensure all projects are on schedule.
Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained.
Make decisions at the agency on behalf of the client's best interests and manage each event in accordance with those decisions as it relates to strategy, planning, and execution.
Oversee the day-to-day project management, such as:
Sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with vendors and suppliers.
Working with staffing team to ensure individuals are trained and armed with the necessary event details for white-glove attendee experience.
Overseeing full production build including fabrication, A/V, and creative assets.
Coordinating all onsite event logistics ensuring smooth and flawless execution.
Compiling post event report with feedback, recommendations, analytics and targeted competitive insights
Provide oversight of programs once live, attending events in-person and straddling client relations and production.
Serve as a liaison among clients and agency/vendors partners by maintaining regular contact and ensuring that communications flow effectively.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
7-10
years' experience in experiential, live, and virtual event production
Experience in client-facing role
Experience in project management and budget management
Experience in strategy and content management a plus but not required
Skills and Attributes:
Demonstrate excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Commitment to relationship management; ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations both internally (project-based) and externally (client based).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at fostering productive collaborations with clients, vendors, and internal team members.
Demonstrate a keen attention to detail, coupled with exceptional organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, maintaining professionalism while handling high-pressure scenarios.
High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn and succeed.
Excellent presentation and written communication skills.

Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings and occasional weekends due to the nature of our events.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
