Job Overview
Senior member of an application team responsible for developing and supporting enterprise level report writing and data extracts out of assigned applications. This position is responsible for full lifecycle development including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and detailed documentation including version control best practices in collaboration with other application analysts, using a variety of reporting tools including Crystal Reports. Position is also responsible to ensure data integrity and reportperformanceas well as ongoing responsibility for modifying existing reports and extracts. Occasionally manages small application projects with other IST staff, end-users, vendors, and consultants including duties such as running meetings, gathering requirements and managing budget. Performs workflow analyses and recommends process changes to enhance departmental productivity. Responsible for detailed documentation of builds, decisions and changes. Strong trouble shooting and communication skills used for both implementation and support of applications.
This position could be a remote position (with minor travel) if the chosen candidate has Lawson experience.
Qualifications
Experience supporting Lawson ERP system
Experience in data extract and report development
Knowledge of Crystal Reports and/or SQL
Perform in a fast-paced environment where project deadlines are critical and multiple projects run in parallel
Strength in developing functional requirements as well as providing options and solutions
Ability to facilitate requirements gathering sessions across multiple groups and document clear and accurate requirements.
Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities.
Lawson HR/GL/SCM experience preferred
Business Analyst experience or PMP preferred
Knowledge of Kronos or Perceptive Software preferred
Experience integrating data between system preferred
Knowledge of COBOL/4GL preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
