Risk Performance Insight/Executive professionals help firms build market leading capabilities in the areas of Analytics using tools to quantify and highlight impact of uncertainty. Deliver reporting, the timely and accurate delivery of key information supporting risk management and governance. Provide data management covering data
governance, quality, ownership, sourcing and architecture. Provide performance management adjusting the performance measures for the risk exposure at individual, group and corporate levels.
Risk Analytics and Reporting professionals provide a set of tools and techniques which help in managing uncertainty by statistical analysis covering quantification, analysis and reporting of risks. Help firms to reduce the volatility of
results through a more proactive management of risks and rewards.
Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations
or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Our company on matters where they may need to gain
acceptance on an alternate approach.

Basic Qualifications
oMinimum of 3 years of risk analytics experience within the Commercial Banking division of a Universal bank or Wholesale Bank, or Rating Agency.
oMinimum of 3 years of risk analytics experience within Quantification and validation of Basel parameters, i.e. PDs, LGDs and EAD, Economic and Regulatory Capital calculation, Liquidity risk management, Market risk management, Stress testing, Counterparty risk, VaR and exposure modeling , Valuation of financial instruments/ portfolios, Limit setting and watch list/ exposure usage monitoring, AND/OR Functional design and database modeling for risk
management systems and applications
oMinimum of 1 years of experience within a Management Consulting firm in Risk Consulting.
oBachelor's Degree

Qualifications:
oMasters in one or more of the following quantitative disciplines, i.e. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computing, Quantitative Finance or other Quantitative discipline
oStrong understanding of commercial financial instruments/ products including commercial lending, asset based lending, treasury services and investment banking
oIn-depth understanding of new/ evolving regulations in the Risk management space including treatment of
off-balance sheet exposures, proprietary trading, systemic risk, stress testing, capital calculations,
reporting standards, etc.
oStrong understanding of risk regulatory framework of one more of the major economies across globe (i.e. US, UK, EU, etc.).
oKnowledge of Basel II/ III principles and practice, Dodd Frank, ICAAP, CCAR, etc.
oExperience with model reviews and validations (covering both conceptual foundation and technical merit) for
different types of risk and valuation models
oExperience in extracting, aggregating and structuring large volumes of data along different dimensions (eg: position/ instrument/ counterparty level)
oProficiency required in one or more of analytical tools such as SAS, R, SQL, Excel/ VBA, Matlab, C++. Strong database skills preferred
oKnowledge of tools/ vendor products such as Moody's, Bloomberg, Reuters, Murex, QRM, RiskMetrics, etc preferred
o Strong academic background. Industry certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA preferred
o Firm Excellent communication and facilitation skills
o Strong Understanding of Front and Back Office operations a plus
o High competence in developing presentations required (MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel))
o Effective team management and leadership skills
o Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment
o Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
o Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
