This position reports to the Model Development Team that has responsibility for all model development and model usage throughout the retail bank. The team works with product departments to determine modeling needs, obtain resources, and manage all modeling projects including model implementation and performance monitoring. The modeling team also manages vendors and performs ad-hoc data analyses using SAS.
Responsibilities:
Ensure reasonableness of model methodology and results
Perform ad-hoc analyses related to the modeling project
Oversee model development on vendor projects
Guide the model development lifecycle; consult on modeling methods and variable definitions
Develop models using business rules and basic statistical methods
Consult on model monitoring report development
Perform decision support analysis
Report analytical results and provide recommendations
Translate business needs into data requirements
Conduct business case development & justification
Write, review and execute statistical programsusing SAS
Write and review model code documentation
Develop model testing scenarios; perform or oversee model test activities
Requirements:
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to timelines
3-5 years of experience developing and/or validating statistical models, including data preparation, model development and model implementation
Experience programming in SAS or other statistical program language
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Math or other quantitative discipline is preferred; commensurate experience with Bachelor's degree will be considered
Ability to develop relationships with a diverse group of professionals

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
