International payments company delivering white label payment infrastructures to payment providers globally seeking Business Development Manager.
The BDM will be responsible for acquiring and building new partner relationships with independent software vendors (ISVs), value added resellers (VARs), independent sales organizations (ISOs), and e-commerce and mobile commerce developers in North America. Emphasis is on hunting and closing new contracts and achieving revenue goals through new partner acquisition and channel development. The BDM activities will include managing a pipeline of prospective partners, researching new potential partners and opportunities, signing commercial agreements with new partners, and effectively driving adoption of company brand and product portfolio.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
o Conclude contract agreements with new partners to expand COMPANY's market coverage and profitable revenue growth
o Achieve/exceed assigned sales quota and performance goals
o Evaluate partner potential vs. other market opportunities and identify where partner acquisition is needed to fill coverage gaps
o Create and proactively manage prospect list while focusing time on highest value prospects to ensure sufficient short and long term business objectives
o Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections to generate new revenue through new partner acquisition
o Effectively onboard and drive adoption of product portfolio through collaboration with Sales Engineering
o Gain knowledge of and influence industry norms through participation in appropriate industry organizations
o Help the organization understand industry trends, growth opportunities and new product development opportunities by relaying partner and end customer (e.g. merchants) feedback
o Maintain accurate and timely records for efficient reporting of sales and account management activities via written, oral and Microsoft Dynamics CRM updates as required
o Assist our clients with introductions and meetings with acquiring banks, alternative payment providers and value-added service partners
o Perform all other related tasks or duties as assigned
Education & Experience o University degree and/or relevant professional experience required
o 5-7 years experience in Sales or Business Development in the electronic payments, ecommerce or other related industries with focus on new account acquisition
Skills & Knowledge
o MUST have strong business acumen and hunter mentality with the ability to generate new business and effectively qualify new opportunities
o Results driven, energetic and entrepreneurial
o Own established relationships within applicable target industries and ability
o Strong networking skills and new lead generation skills
o Cold calling/emailing/prospecting skills
o Understand how to target opportunities based on total potential, likely profitability & probability of success
o Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with key personnel and executive leadership at partner organizations
o Able to communicate product features and benefits in a compelling way
o Possess excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
o Ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and issues
o Ability to detect problems and complicated situations and proactively propose potential solutions
o Highly organized
o Ability to work in a small (fewer than 10 people) office supported by a 100-person business overseasEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
