Business Development Representative

Manage chargebacks and risk for online merchants; our SAAS based service suite allows merchants to get up and running quickly and realize immediate results. We have a solid network of resellers and referral partners, in addition to our direct sales team, and typically deal with the CFO/Controller/Head of Customer Service at a prospect company. We are looking to add more folks to our Business Development team and need some hungry contenders.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for the following:
Locating and proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities, passing pertinent leads to Sales Team
Closing new referral or reseller deals, developing and negotiating contracts, managing go-forward relationship throughout lifecycle
Being a consultative partner, building c-level relationships with card-not-present (CNP) merchants, issuers, and payment processors
Coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Integration and Client Services to ensure the necessary information is gathered to facilitate a quick go-live and maintain a satisfied customer
You bring to the table your:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales training in lieu of degree
5-7 years business development or relationship management experience with a documented track record of exceeding targets and developing pipeline
Knowledge of consultative, long cycle sales with the ability to present solutions to clients, and to formulate creative solutions that meet their needs
Experience with MS Office to include Powerpoint, Word and Excel
Highly-motivated relationship builder with a solid track record in closing business with consistent achievement in meeting assigned quota and performance targets
Ability to understand the business and technical solutions
Willingness to travel for meetings with prospects or to attend trade events
Local and remote presence
