Job Description - Buyer
We're looking for a seasoned, Senior Buyer, specializing in close-outs and deal-buys. This person will be resourceful and scrappy to leverage existing relationships and find new relationships to secure amazing selection at rock-bottom prices to offer our eCommerce customers. This person is self-motivated, driven and a self-starter who wants to make a lot of money. A crucial part of this super-fast paced role is identifying and approaching prospective suppliers and identifying distribution and marketing solutions.

Core Responsibilities
Source and solidify top-tier-brand relationships, in order to curate products that consumers will love
Negotiate terms of sale, price point, and margin
Research product landscape to keep current with industry trends and pricing dynamics in the consumer-product-goods space
Manage category selection to optimize sales and the customer experience.
Ability to influence and work well with other departments
Possible travel (up to 10%) to trade shows
Requirements
3
years experience as a Buyer with evidence of successful negotiation in competitive market
Direct responsibility for P&L of multi million pound categories
Experience using Microsoft Excel
Must have a demonstrated business acumen
Meticulous attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering results while juggling multiple projects
Examples of having met weekly deadlines with moving targets with an understanding of the impact it has to category P&L
Capable of maintaining focus in a whirlwind of change
Proof of business-polished written and verbal communication
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
